Create Colored Candy Apples - Make new, exciting variations. Try Lime Green, Blue Raspberry, Grape Purple, Caramel, & Pink Strawberry. *Made in USA* So easy to use. Just open the bag, add 5 lbs. of sugar and 16 oz. of water. Cook to between 290F & 300 F and you are ready to dip. This makes a hard candy coating that compliments the tart apple. Each bag of the mix will coat approximately 70 to 100 apples, depending on size. Each bag weighs 15 oz. Apples should ideally be purchased directly from a Produce Wholesaler and should not have any coatings or wax. Apples purchased from Grocery Stores may have coatings that may cause the Candy Apple Magic not to adhere properly to the apple. Washing the apples in warm water might be required.
